Urban Ahlin

Ambassador of Sweden to Canada

Sweden has a goal of zero net greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. With this ambitious target comes enormous business opportunities. Industry plays an important role, not only by reducing its own emissions but by producing renewable products that can replace fossil fuels and contribute to a circular and bio-based economy. Let’s explore how Canada and Sweden can build strong industrial sectors that create jobs and export opportunities by going fossil-free.

Within the framework of Fossil Free Sweden 22 different business sectors have developed roadmaps to show how they can become fossil-free while increasing their competitiveness.
