The SCCC cordially invites you to Lucia – a Celebration of Light – December 6th 2013

Come enjoy a traditional Swedish Christmas buffet, accompanied by the obligatory singing of Schnapps songs. Be moved by Santa Lucia and her maids as they sing traditional Lucia carols.

The Lucia Luncheon continues until all the prizes have been given out in the very popular Lucia raffle! This is the perfect event to invite your business acquaintances, friends and family to join in the heartfelt, atmospheric afternoon filled with good food, fun filled raffle away from daily routines.

No more worries of what gifts to give your friends, business associates or employees for the Holidays. Experience this one of its kind event in Toronto and come away with a Unique taste of Sweden.

This years Lucia Celebration will take place in the presence of  His Excellency Teppo Tauriainen, Ambassador of Sweden to Canada.

12.00 P.M. – Jul Bord (Christmas Buffet)
1.00 P.M. – Lucia Train ( Swedish Lucia Choir of Toronto)
2.00 P.M. – Raffle and Coffee
3.00 P.M. -6.00 P.M. – Cocktails in the Library (cash bar)

MC: Brian G Smith, Award winning alumnus of The Second City, celebrated television, theater, film maker and Improv Master, extraordinaire.

Music: Magnus Hjärpe and his Trio  will entertain us during the Glögg reception and The Lucia Choir of Toronto, led by Emma Eriksson are providing the traditional Luica Train.

Individual tickets and tables of 10 – 12 can be reserved and tickets to be paid online via Pay Pal or by cheque, prior to the event. (No cancellations after November 22, 2013.)
