2012-02-02 New Year’s Reception
The 2012 New Year’s Reception was held on February 2nd, 2012 at the Miele Gallery in the famous St. Lawrence Market. This annual event represented the 3rd year at this fantastic location organized in partnership with Miele Ltd. Mr. Jan Heck, President of Miele Ltd., generously provided their state-of-the-art Miele kitchen as the backdrop for this evening and we are proud that this partnership has become a tradition. We had a full house, with more than 120 guests mingling and enjoying each others company.
The Miele Gallery was the perfect setting offering a relaxed atmosphere for people to network, socialize with their friends, colleagues or potential new contacts. It was a pleasure to have famous Chef Andrea Nicholson cooking for us and preparing delicious specialties on-site. Andrea is best known for being the winner of the 2011 Food Network TV Show – Top Chef and her talent was evident, as guests sampled a variety of creative dishes. The open concept of the market kitchen allowed people to witness Chef Andrea in action, as she and her team prepared the tasty canapés. A wine and beer bar provided our guests with premium beverages, enjoyed by all.
Guests also had the opportunity to watch an entertaining video, highlighting the 2011 Canadian German Chamber events, developed by the Canadian German Chamber Events Team.
