Facebook at work – Be Careful!

0

Imagine you are a human resources manager, and every week you surf on Facebook after work, glass of wine in hand, happily exploring the various profiles of your contacts, both personal and professional. One evening, you notice that one of your colleagues has joined a Facebook group with the same name as the company you work for. Intrigued, you decide to have a look and, perhaps, to join the group.

Piper's Heath Golf Club in the early morning

Piper's Heath Golf Club in the early morning

“Gök Otta – Early Cuckoo Morning” or Ascension Day dates back to the year 68 and is a celebration of the arrival of Spring and looking for nature to predict the future, especially in the call of the Cuckoo bird.

The day is often celebrated by getting up early in the morning – around 3 or 4 a.m. meet with friends in a forest glen to hear the birds sing and eat a picnic breakfast….sounds like the perfect opportunity to merge a dash of ancient Swedish culture with a relaxing morning on the Golf Course!

A member of the Getinge Group, a Swedish multinational, we are also proud to be a world leader in the field of infection control – one of the foremost providers of disinfectors and sterilizers in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Innovation and technological progress have been the hallmarks of our work for over 100 years. Through our operations and our health technologies, we consistently strive to ensure that we protect the environment, conserve natural resources and contribute to a sustainable society. One of our products, the Getinge 88 Turbo washer/disinfector substantially reduced water consumption by approximately 7.7 million litres annually, and electricity consumption by 9.5 kW per cycle at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
