BFL was founded in Montreal in 1987 by Barry F. Lorenzetti. He was quickly joined by others who shared his vision, and from then on, the company grew by the constant addition of professionals who were recognized as leaders in their niches. About Nicholas Landry;
Nick supports business’ of all shapes and sizes as an employee benefits consultant. While carrying too many designations to fit on a business card, he is most proud to be one of the few Canadians who carries the “Fellow” status from the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists. He has extensive experience in supporting companies private, publically traded and multinational companies with their total compensations strategies as well as individual risk protection such as key person coverages and partner buy/out protection.
In the community:
BFL Canada sponsors short track speed skater Samuel Girard who medaled twice in the most recent Pyeongchang Olympics; meanwhile, Nicholas founded a student-athlete entrance scholarship program named “The Coaches Award”. As a two-sport varsity athlete in university, he feels this is the most fundamental way of paying it forward to the next generation of student-athletes.
